Landscape photography

It is quite interesting to capture a scenic view. Moreover you cannot find scenes apt for landscape photography all the time! There can be various types of landscapes:

  1. Natural : This would typically consist of rivers, lakes, mountains, hills etc.
  2. Artificial: Houses, men, fences, roads, factories.

Natural Landscapes

Mountain Landscapes

You have to search for a beautiful foreground element as mountains will be at the back, so as to complete the composition of the picture. You will have to go wide to capture the entire picture. Half view or three-fourth view would never get the completeness of the picture. The foreground can be trees or a pasture or anything which is striking.

Flat Landscapes

In most landscapes we thrill when the terrain is varied and interesting. But it is actually a challenge to click a flat landscape. Here the horizon is flat. You might have to crouch or sit to capture a flat landscape.

Coastal Landscapes

This is the best for people who love beaches. The trees and water are the hero of the Click. The striking colours of the water, sky and trees which make a perfect balance. While coastal landscape photography can be done at any time of the day or night, most photographers say best clicks come before sunrise and after sunset.

Artificial Landscapes

These are the ones which are easy to click as you can find road houses more often then a clear view of the mountains and lush green trees. With city life you can easily spot a scene but make it clear to an angle where not a cluttered image is to be taken but a clean ,well defined object focused image can be clicked.
